Creating visuals for music has always been an instinctive process for me. With each beat and lyric, there’s a story waiting to be shaped and this project became one of the most personal yet.
This video is my second exploration into music videos using AI tools, and this time, I wanted to push the visual narrative further by embracing an animated, painterly aesthetic.
I explored a blend of AI techniques to shape the visual narrative. I used image-to-image generation to stylise personal photographs into soft, painterly compositions that carried emotional weight. Text-to-image to craft dreamlike transitions
and image-to-video generation to bring the still frames to life animating subtle, poetic movements. Each tool played a role in weaving together a visual language that felt both personal and cinematic.
Personal Note
No sketchbook. No stylus. Just stories, tools, and intent.
By transforming real photographs into painterly frames using DALL·E and stitching them into motion, I discovered a new way to tell stories that feel deeply personal.
This film came together in just over 3–4 days. It was fast and intuitive but every frame was a result of trial and error. Prompt tweaks. Regenerations. Layered ideas. The process wasn’t linear, it thrived on iteration.
What began as an experiment became a personal exploration with tools I’m still learning, and emotions I already knew.
