Hello Hallo Hola

Namaste Namaskaram!

Well, I'm glad you've made it here. It means you're curious about my alter egos haha! I truly appreciate you!

I began writing poems and excerpts (yes, even before the ChatGPT era) and fully practicing yoga back in my college days. What began as a way to channel my emotions and understand them better, soon became a ritual.

While this page is still being developed to best represent excerpts I've written fleetingly on my notes app while travelling, thoughts and ideas I've had in the shower and random quotes I read from books, you could take a sneak peak of where it all began in 2020;
as
@imascape on Instagram.

Back in 2020, during a time when the world was paused, I found myself drawn to the Japanese concepts of ikigai (a reason for being) and ichigo ichie (cherishing each moment).

They taught me to embrace the present, to create from the rawness of now. While I was into dreamscapes then, the period of creative exploration never stopped even though I changed streams. Sharing a piece I'd written then that sums it up perfectly:

"Time is real, like space and matter. It advances and flows into a dimension of its own, they say. Maybe it's just a construct of the mind, a dream waiting to express itself? What is 'now' is subjective and I wish to embrace you into mine.

We find solace by stepping into the vast expanse of creative subconscious of artists, musicians, authors and poets who are making the most of this period called quarantine.

Ima (meaning 'now' in Japanese) was born out of an impulsive need to express a -scape I dreamt of, a reality I wished to showcase in an attempt to delve deeper. This art form is called surrealist architecture but it's real to me, a surrealist, living in reality."
